The first in-person REPAIRS network-wide event took place in Frejús, France from the 13th until the 19th of March. This was the first time that the 15 REPAIRS Early-Stage Researchers, their supervisors and partners met in person for a week full of lectures, training and social activities.
During the week, ESRs and supervisors had the opportunity to share ideas and insights into some of the core topics of the REPAIRS programme such as Perception-Action, Rehabilitation Science and Systems Approach. ESRs presented theirselves and their projects and they had the first session of the Experiental Skills Learning workshop, where all ESRs demonstrated a new skill they had learned.
In addition to the lectures, consortium members had the opportunity to get to know each better thanks to social activities and events. One of them is the game of petanque, which is very popular to the south of France.
During the last day of the event, the group enjoyed a day trip on the coast of Frejús: a day full of joy and entertainment to conclude the week.
Our next training event will take place in Bochum in 2 months! Stay tuned!
